Our plastic addiction has created islands of plastic in the oceans. These plastics have now started breaking down into tiny particles that are being induced by very small creatures now just by breathing.
This plastic is even reaching unborn fetuses in marine animals.
There are also exuberant amount of plastic settling on the ocean beds which is killing off the organisms that live in the ocean floor.
